Growing my blog

Well I'd like to welcome all 3 of my blog followers - Thank you for checking out what I've got to say and appreciating it enough to stick around for more!

And... to the two people who dropped by to leave comments on a couple of my posts.

I'm new at blogging and as much as I'd like to write daily, sometimes life and it's responsibilities prevent that from happening. However, the more people dig it, the more I want to write. So... I am going to put more effort into it as I had originally intended. I also need to add tags to all my posts so people can find me and I can attract more visitors.

Thanks again, guys... Hope you all are having a good day and living life to it's fullest!

Greg :-)

  3. Hey Greg :) I saw the comment you left about the paleo diet for acne on Mal's blog. I've been starting to transition to a more paleo diet recently-- really enjoying it so far and feeling better! So hopefully I can check out that book sometime. Thanks for the suggestion!

  4. My pleasure Mitri! I enjoyed all the books I've read by Dr. Cordain. The paleo diet, which I'm very familiar with, is not what I 100% agree with. Don't get me wrong, it's far superior to the American Standard Diet - However, according to documented science and biochemical facts, his "belief" of fruit consumption is 100% false. I also don't agree with the lack of animal fat consumption he advocates as well as oils and other fats as "substitutes".

Check out the 2 posts I have on fruit and fructose here on my blog if you want the absolute facts on the human consumption of fruit.

I still suggest reading Dr. Cordain's book - I just don't agree with everything he has to say. He has his PhD. in Health - he is a Professor, an author, and a public speaker... clearly a brilliant man. However, he is not a Biochemist and a lot of what he says is simply not factual.

Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and good luck in your quest!

    Greg :-)

  5. Hi Greg! I'm following you too -- through Google Reader so I won't always show up on your statcounter. Dontcha hate that? ;) Enjoying your posts, though!

  6. Awesome Tamara! I'll make you a deal - you're welcome to read and comment on my blog if I can go for a ride on one your horses sometime. I'll even bring my own saddle! :-)

  7. LOL Come on over! But I'll provide the saddle -- it has to fit the particular horse just as well as well as your shoes need to fit you! :)

  8. You're on! But it has to be an old, tame, trail rider - It's been years since I've been on a horse! My dad used to have a beautiful Palamino named Sundance in the barn with our family's horses. I used to love to ride him because he was so old and lazy... I'd slowly make my way through the trails and take him out on the beach. Rarely did he get past a trot and that was on a good day lol. So I'll let you know the next time I'm in Idaho and take you up on the offer! Which will probably be never - but the thought sure is fun! :-)
